FAQ

FAQ

Will I have to give up eating meat?
No. I’ll work with you to find a balance that feels right for you.

What do you charge for your services?
Cooking classes are based on the location. I offer public classes, private classes, and group private classes. I also offer different coaching programs to fit different budgets. If you would like more information, feel free to email me or contact me to schedule a free consultation.

What’s your diet?
I eat what I call a “plant-based diet”. I eat very few animal products, if any, and the majority of my diet consists of vegetables.

How do you charge?
I’m flexible. You can pay with cash, paypal, or Chase QuickPay.

Do you work with children?
Sure! I primarily work with the people who are responsible for food choices within their home. I’m happy to work with parents to help them figure out how to support their kids eating healthier food. I haven’t done a cooking class for kids yet, but if there’s enough interest I’d be happy to set something up.

What happens in our first session?
We’ll review what’s been working for you and what hasn’t been working. We’ll also discuss your goals and come up with a few immediate steps for you to take.

How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been helping people incorporate healthier foods into their diets for over 10 years and I’ve been working one-on-one with people helping them reach their goals for over 8 years.

What’s the best way to reach you?
Email or phone are perfect.

What if I don’t live in NYC?
I also offer phone, skype, facetime and google hangout sessions.

What’s your philosophy?
I believe that each person is different, and work with individuals to find their own balance. I also believe that the way to healthy food habits involves incorporating more vegetables, whole grains, and unprocessed foods into the diet. For one person that may mean eating broccoli twice per week and cutting out a daily trip to the bakery, for someone else it may mean juicing and sprouting. It all depends where you feel comfortable and what changes you can make sustainably.
